One day I was laying in agony from my latest surgery - a biggie a bilateral salpingo supracervical oopharectomy (acronym: LSH/BSO ) with bladder tack due to prolapse of bladder & cervix/uterus (aka total hysterectomy, no ovaries, no uterus, no tubes nothin’ left - just hollow “hello hello, echo, echo”). So anyways, I was laying there in agony, crying and pleading to God for help! My answer came in the form of a website - http://www.hystersisters.com/. My fellow hystersisters are forever in my heart

This website (hystersisters) is wonderful! Everyone is welcome female and male! It’s just full of hurting people, helping hurting people thru, VERY DIFFICULT times in their lives.

They have many articles, lists, diagrams, discussions, definitions, alternatives, and more regarding hysterectomies. I only wished I had found it before I had mine!

A multiple of female issues are discussed there and you will find answers from caring individuals who are going thru what you are (or already have). You will be able to reach out to total strangers who they in turn need your answers as well.

The only thing I would say is this – I personally do not believe in a few things that are discussed as options on hystersisters only bc I have already "been there, done that" - they are:

1. Synthetic Hormones (horse urine)
2. No Hormone Replacement

I realize they both need to be discussed, but my journey and experiences tells me – no way, no how will I ever use synthetic or go without! I know first hand what trying both do to your body and it is not good!! It is sickness, disease, and emotional instability!! No-sir-re-bob I am stickin’ with Bioidentical Hormones!

So whether you have had hysterectomy, told you need one, dealing with cancer, have questions regarding issues with hormones, suffering with endometreosis, or just plain need someone to “talk” to that can understand what you are going thru - well then this is the website for you!
